Rewind

Portia, being a successful entrepreneur, was busy all round the clock. She thought she should have a long break. As she was alone, her own decision is the only thing that she needs. She had a day break. That very night, she decided to engage in work again. To conclude her break, she wrote a poem.

As I looked into my watch for time,

I remembered you tying it to me.

As I booked my cab,

I remembered how we travelled along.

As I saw bikes on the roads,

I remembered how you loved those.

As I burst out bubbles in air,

I remembered you buying it for me.

As I visited temple,

I remembered us praying together.

As I breathe today,

I remembered you being the reason for that, longtime ago.

I changed a lot.....

From India to US,

From salwars to skirts,

From flats to heels,

From reserved to bold,

From twenties to thirties,

At last, from you to..................still you...........

Memories can never be forgotten

It can only be lived along with.....
